The story of a pioneer woman and her daughters, QUILTERS stitches together songs, scenes, and monologues into a beautiful patchwork that celebrates the beauty, terror, joy, challenge and abiding rewards of frontier life. Follow the characters through girlhood, marriage, childbirth, spinsterhood, twisters, fire, illness and death. And through it all, there is love, warmth, humor and simple human dignity and steadfastness in the face of adversity. QUILTERS will linger in the mind and memory long after the house lights have dimmed.
